Teachers Workshop for Integrated Automation
COMPETENCY BUILDING FOR TEACHING OF INTEGRATED AUTOMATION
organised on
30th August to 3rd September 2016
Workshop Objectives
Smart machines, supercritical processes and new enabling technologies in industrial automation are reshaping engineering and manufacturing practices. Automation Industry has been propelling economies internationally by enabling manufacturing and infrastructure to meet the growing needs across the globe. This cross disciplinary segment is the key to enhanced productivity, reliability and quality in multiple domains.
Under its “Campus Connect” initiative, AIA had organized a five days workshop for Teachers and HODs. The main objective of this innovative workshop was to provide experiential learning through case studies and laboratory activity. Academia who are keen to imbibe contemporary learning in the field of industrial automation and set up an integrated automation centre, will be able to see a roadmap for implementation in their organizations. The current workshop covered Tier 1 and Tier 2 concepts & created a vision for participants to move upward to Tier 3 & Tier 4.
